Who Is It? The Walking Dead Season Finale

Abraham

606_Abraham_SuspiciousWhy it would make sense: Abraham’s had an epiphany and is finally in a spot where he could imagine bringing life into the world, as we learned from his RV conversation with Sasha.

So the irony of taking him out at this point would be rich, indeed. And The Walking Dead loves rich irony. Plus, out of the entire lot, he seemed to be the least afraid to meet his fate. He even stood tall (on his knees) as Negan delivered his morbid “Eeny, meeny, miny, moe” speech. As if he wanted to take one for the team. So if you’re Negan, why not give the man what he wants?

Why it wouldn’t make sense: But if we lose Abraham, we lose a few different potential rabbit trails for next year’s plot. The whole love triangle thing between Sasha, Abraham and Rosita has more legs. Of that I’m certain. Also, without Abraham, who would be left to deliver compelling lines such as “Bitch nuts”?

Final take: It ain’t Abe.
