A recent report from NFL Insider Mike Freeman saying that he’d heard rumors of Peyton Manning’s interest in returning to coach at UT caused a stir around UT’s fanbase.
Manning himself addressed that possibility at the Middle Tennessee Sports Awards on Thursday evening as he was the keynote speaker at the event.

So it looks like Manning won’t be coaching the Vols right now – and possibly never. That won’t stop UT fans from wondering “what if” however.
