The Vols have one more non-conference game before their SEC schedule revs up, and they need to get some younger and less experienced players some more playing time to figure out what they have depth-wise heading into the most pivotal stretch of the season.

Tennessee has had trouble finding players to spell starters at key positions so far this season. Whether it’s on the defensive line, in the secondary, or at wide receiver, the Vols have a depth issue because they have so many young or injured players at those positions.
