It’s been a little over a week since Butch Jones was let go as the Vols’ head football coach, and the search is still on for his replacement.
Many Vol fans thought Jon Gruden was a done deal sometime last week. But with nothing being announced from either side on that front, it’s time to take a look at who else Tennessee is targeting. We’ve also added some more names to the list.
We have an extensive list of candidates for Tennessee’s open head coaching position. This pool of coaches is who we expect Tennessee will be looking at to become the Vols’ next head coach.
Our hot board is divided into four different categories. We have the “big names,” the “up-and-comers,” the “sought-after assistants,” and the “long shots.”
