• WR Adrian Gamble: The Virginia transfer was forced to sit this year out per NCAA transfer rules. He had two catches in 12 game appearances for the Cavs and has looked good in practice for the Vols. Will compete for a spot in the WR rotation next season.
• DE Joe Henderson: Currently away from the team due to an NCAA Clearinghouse issue, Henderson remains on UT’s official roster and if he were to be cleared at any point, he certainly wouldn’t play this season and would be back as a redshirt freshman next year.
• CB Riyahd Jones: The senior cornerback hasn’t played this season. He recently tweeted that he’ll redshirt this season, though the Vols need scholarship space going forward, so we’ll wait to see how that all plays out.
