10. Tennessee vs. Nebraska Outback Bowl (Tampa Bay, Fla.)
Okay, this probably doesn’t happen. But it could. Like I explained in the opening, the Outback Bowl is technically on equal footing with the likes of the Music City and Liberty Bowls under the new system, so if the Vols could finish 7-5, sell to the league that their fans will travel like crazy and set up a nice matchup of these two traditional powers, maybe it could work. Nebraska is still in play for some bigger destinations, but if they stumble down the stretch at all, this New Year’s Day matchup is within the realm of possibility.
