RTI’s Updated Recruiting Hot Board

brick3

It is officially recruiting season, which means the focus for college coaches and college football fans is all on recruiting as staffs across the country are now putting their final touches on their respective classes. To this point in the year, Tennessee has put together an extremely strong class and looks poised for another big finish that should see them, once again, ranked among the nation’s elite when the dust settles on National Signing Day on February 4th.

Current Class rankings:
Rivals.com: 5th Nationally
Scout.com: 3rd Nationally
247Sports: 3rd Nationally
ESPN.com: 5th Nationally

The Vols currently sit at 28 commitments for the 2015 class – after the addition of 4-star QB Sheriron Jones – but the Vols could take as many as 33 according to head coach Butch Jones, depending on how the numbers work themselves out. As is always the case in recruiting, nothing is ever final until a player has either enrolled early (of which the Vols have 10 in the 2015 class), or signed the dotted line in February. However, we wanted to put together a list of names for Vol fans to keep in the back of their minds over the coming weeks as players who at least have the possibility of joining Tennessee’s class when all is said and done.

By no means are the following names the only players Tennessee stands a chance at adding to this year’s class – once again, recruiting is far from an exact science – these are simply players that have had very real interest in the Vols in recent weeks. So, here are a few players that we feel Tennessee has a legitimate chance to add to their class by the time February 4th rolls around.
