Steve Spurrier joined Twitter on Monday, and his first tweet was a bit of a fail. He scrubbed it after a couple minutes, but we grabbed a screenshot.
Let’s break it down a bit.
• 1rst? An excellent combination of 1st and first. That’s a strong start.
• Now for the places he tagged. @Duke is the wrong user. That leads to Roma Kahlon – who hasn’t tweeted since December of 2013 instead of Duke University, where he worked from 1987-89. Even better, he tagged the wrong USC – leading to Southern California, instead of South Carolina.
But the Ol’ Ball Coach somewhat recovered, sending out another one that didn’t include the wrong tags. At least he didn’t start out with a UT/Citrus Bowl jab..I guess that’s what happens when he’s lost two straight to Tennessee.
