If you don’t know a ton about new Tennessee basketball coach Rick Barnes, you might not assume he’s a big practical joker based on his relatively calm demeanor and professional look and behavior.
That’s not entirely true, however.
It’s an appropriate time this April Fool’s Day to let you hear from him about a couple of legendary jokes that he’s pulled off during his career. We also heard he was having some fun with people at Tennessee’s yesterday throughout the day, so it’s good for Tennessee fans to know he has a fun personality, especially behind the scenes.
In this clip with Seth Davis, he tells a couple fantastic stories starting at about the 3:40 mark of the video (the part before where he discusses Kevin Durant is good as well). The whole five-part series, which you can look up on YouTube, is worth your time, but this is especially appropriate for today.
