Status
One of several Florida receivers the Vols have offered this year, Johnson seems to have Tennessee near the top of his list. But his recruitment gained momentum in the early summer with Georgia extending an offer and elite programs Florida State and Alabama evaluating him as well. Still too early to get a great feel for how realistic of a chance the Vols have.

How He Fits
Johnson is another athletic Florida receiver that has a good frame to work with, but needs to add some weight. His production wasn’t huge as a junior (430 yards) but he makes some plays on film that make you understand why Tennessee and other major programs have significant interest.
