Heading into the summer, the Vols haven’t had Lawrence on campus yet, but he’s still listed Tennessee as a team he’s intrigued by and that he’d like to visit at some point. Tennessee coaches have been by his school and Lawrence doesn’t seem to be in any hurry in the recruiting process. He’s a name to watch heading into the summer and fall as the Vols pursue several elite defensive linemen in the 2016 class.

How He Fits
Lawrence is a true run-stopping defensive tackle with reports listing his weight anywhere between 310 to 340 pounds as he enters his senior season at Wake Forest High School. He’s unblockable at the high school level, and would give the Vols yet another stud in the middle to pair with the likes of Kahlil McKenzie, Shy Tuttle and others in the coming years.
