7. WR Marquez North
We had to go back and check the tape to make sure Marquez North even played in the opener. He recorded no stats and was never targeted against Bowling Green. An injury slowed him in camp, and it makes sense that perhaps the Vols were trying to get some younger guys going against the Falcons. But arguably UT’s most gifted receiver needs to be more in the gameplan this week against the Sooners. Oklahoma checked in at 120th in pass defense nationally last year, so if Dobbs can get some time, North and the other receivers need to step up and make some plays.
