Pick 6: SEC Against the Spread — Week 5

[tps_header][/tps_header]

Georgia Game-31

No. 13 Alabama at No. 8 Georgia (-2), Saturday, 3:30 pm ET, CBS

Kevin: Sometimes I gamble based on math that I pretend to understand, but usually it’s a gut instinct and I have enough gut to tell me that Mark Richt will continue his streak of blowing it in prime time games. The Nick Saban dynasty may be nearing an end, but it will be a long crumbling decay as opposed to a sudden fall, because he’s still the best in the business. Georgia will put up a fight, but ultimately will be exposed and the Tide will be back near the top. Alabama +2.

John: Wrong. Remember “The Theory” that I talked about in week one? Of course you don’t. But here’s what it is. ALWAY pick a lower ranked home favorite which is what I’m doing here. I know, Georgia isn’t ranked lower than Bama. They’re ranked higher. But I don’t care because the world is in love Bama to the point that the world just assumes they’re the better ranked team. I say the Tide gets run by the Dogs who are looking to prove they got what it takes this year. Freshwater’s boys go down, Georgia -2.
