We’ve said time and time again that it’s a results-oriented business and it’ll be hard to give Butch Jones and the staff a fantastic grade in a loss. That being said, the gameplan seemed fairly solid on both sides of the ball and UT came to Tuscaloosa with the mindset that it could win this football game. If one or two things had gone differently late, Jones would’ve had back-to-back huge wins and the Vols would be riding incredibly high. But for now, Jones will still have to prove in the future that he can be the coach that helps UT finish off games like this – not just compete in them.
