Teams are, rightfully, horrified about kicking to any of Tennessee’s return men. And while that’s prevented many big returns in the last few weeks, it’s also led to a lot of short kicks, punts out of bounds and other field-shortening plays for the Vols. On the other side, UT continues to make teams go the long way. Trevor Daniel put Missouri inside the 20 four times on Saturday night, making the already-struggling Tiger offense go the length of the field. Something they couldn’t do with any regularity. The Vols saw Aaron Medley too many times and would like to score more touchdowns, but he took care of business for the most part, hitting 4-of-5 field-goal attempts – coming just one short of tying the school record for made FGs in a game.
