Just Win Regardless
This resolution goes to Tennessee’s baseball team and more specifically to their head coach Dave Serrano after a disappointing fourth season at the helm.
The Vols baseball team may not be the most popular team at UT, but there are still a number of fans that care about the program. And the program is capable of attracting a big crowd when they’re successful. Unfortunately, Vols baseball hasn’t been relevant in years, and 2015 looked like it would be the year that changed that.
But the baseball Vols dropped far too many head-scratching games this past season and once again missed the NCAA tournament. And now Serrano’s job is on the line heading into his fifth season as the team’s head coach.
Serrano needs wins any way he can get them. The baseball team has to improve this year and likely has to either make a deep SEC tournament run or make it to the NCAA tournament to save Serrano’s job. So for Serrano, our New Year’s resolution is to just win and win any time you can.
