Introducing Tennessee’s 2016 Early Enrollees

Jeff George

2015 stats at Dodge City CC: 49 Rec, 685 yards, 5 TD

At nearly 6-foot 6, wide receiver Jeff George might be one of the tallest receivers in Tennessee history already. Depending on the recruiting source you prefer, George is a 3/4-star kid and is ranked one of the top 10 JUCO receivers in the country. As you can see from his highlight reel, George has the ability to create space between defenders, and will most definitely be a fade-route go-getter. His height and wing-span will be unmatched by the best cornerbacks in the country, which makes him a weapon for any jump ball pass. He only weighs about 200 pounds so it’s safe to say Tennessee’s strength and conditioning program will team up with the nutrition department to help him put on a little bit of weight, but overall the sky’s the limit for this new Vol. And while he didn’t have a laundry list of schools chasing him, several other prestigious programs offered him a scholarship including Mississippi State, Auburn, and Texas A&M.
