Tennessee quarterback Joshua Dobbs missed practice on Tuesday, but there was no injury or any other reason for concern.

The Vols’ rising senior do-it-all quarterback/scholar/athlete/community service ace was in Atlanta being honored for yet another off-the-field award.

Here’s the full release from Tennessee:

“University of Tennessee quarterback Joshua Dobbs will be honored with the Amateur  “Peach of an Athlete” Role Model Award tonight at the 32nd Annual Peach of an Athlete (POA) Role Model Banquet at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.  The POA Banquet honors athletes, both amateur and professional, who exemplify good character and athletic achievement.  The event benefits the programs of Atlanta Area Council and Boys Scouts of America.  Other honorees include University of Georgia women’s golfer Sylvie Brick, Dikembe Mutombo, former professional basketball player, and Mike Plant, Executive Vice President of the Atlanta Braves. “
