Some of Dobbs’ inconsistencies in the passing game have been well-documented as his completion rate fell a bit in 2015. That needs to be addressed and improved in 2016. But Dobbs is too good of an athlete and overall football player to be ignored in the NFL Draft process. Scouts will want to look at him up close. With offenses in the NFL evolving – smart, athletic players like Dobbs should have a spot somewhere in the league. How he throws the ball in 2016 could go a long way in determining if he’s a candidate to be a higher pick or if teams view him as more of a project.
