Tennessee basketball assistant coach Chris Ogden is reportedly leaving head coach Rick Barnes’ staff to become the associate head coach at UNLV.
Jimmy Hyams confirmed the move Friday morning via Twitter.

Ogden was an assistant under Barnes for the 2015-16 season at Tennessee and was an assistant under Barnes for seven season at Texas before joining him at Tennessee. He was on the Longhorns’ staff for a total of 12 years.
Hyams also believes Barnes will have a replacement named very quickly.

No names have come out as of yet as targets for Barnes, but the search has just begun.
