9. Newcomers
Part of the reason why there might not be quite as much buzz is the lack of impact newcomers that are on campus this spring. Only three early enrollees will be on the field Saturday in cornerback D.J. Henderson, cornerback Marquill Osborne and receiver Jeff George. Still, it’s a first opportunity to see those three, and Osborne especially, has drawn impressive reviews this spring for his work at corner and nickelback. George and Henderson are JUCO guys who don’t have as long to make an impact, so they’ll both be looking for big performances on Saturday.
