5-11, 183 pounds
Memphis, Tenn. (St. George’s)

Other top offers
Oklahoma State, South Carolina, Arkansas, Michigan

Status
Hayden, a Vol legacy (Aaron Hayden), put UT in his top five in early May along with Oklahoma State, Arkansas, South Carolina and Illinois. Tennessee, which needs a lot of help at running back, has the legacy and the in-state edge, is definitely the school to beat for now in this recruitment.

 How He Fits

Call him an all-purpose back, an athlete or whatever you want, but Hayden makes a lot of plays for his St. George’s team, which runs an offense with a lot of similarities to Tennessee’s. Hayden isn’t the biggest or fastest running back on UT’s board, but he runs with good toughness, instincts and has long strides for his relatively compact frame.

He’s a definite take for UT if he wants to play for the Vols like his father, and would be a nice piece to add as they try to put together the puzzle of what the running back position will look like in the coming years.
