The Vols are in a great spot with Fant. Spring offers from LSU, Miami and others certainly are giving him more to think about, but UT is in the driver’s seat for the talented midstate wide receiver until further notice.

How He Fits
Fant has an impressive skill set for a wide receiver and is especially adept at making catches in traffic. Tennessee, at this point, has around 10 scholarship receivers scheduled to be back in 2017, but finding consistency has been a challenge. The offense could look fairly different in ’17 with Joshua Dobbs and several other key pieces gone, so the Vols are looking to stock up on talent receivers to give them options to shape their offense.
