In terms of immediate impact, the newcomers will have to compete with the veteran cast that Butch Jones has put together over the past few years. But special teams is a breeding ground for young guys looking to prove themselves, and it’s a perfect mold for Nigel Warrior. Son of former Vol Dale Carter, Warrior has the speed and aggressiveness to dominate kickoffs, punts, etc. Given a year or two to train under Kelly, Gaulden, and others, Warrior will one day live up to the name on his back.
