2016 Class
Butch Jones and his staff signed just one five-star prospect in the 2016 class, and that was safety Nigel Warrior. It’s still too early to tell on Warrior right now, but he did show some promise when asked to play a larger role later in the season. Warrior made his first career start against Missouri late in the season, and he played in all 12 regular season games.
Warrior finished with 22 tackles and a tackle for loss in his freshman campaign, and he appears to be in line for an expanded role going into his sophomore season with Tennessee.
