7. USC
This match-up would’ve been more intriguing a few years ago when Lane Kiffin was Southern Cal’s head coach, but even with the two schools’ current setups, seeing the Trojans and Vols play would be must-watch television.
USC is one of the most storied college football programs in the country. Fans of pretty much every team across the country want to get a crack at the Trojans. But Vol fans haven’t seen the Big Orange take on the Trojans in over three decades. These two storied programs need a game, and they need it soon.
Interestingly enough, the Vols are winless against USC. In four meetings, the Vols have been outscored 102-24, most recently in a 43-7 beatdown in 1981. The two teams haven’t played since, but maybe it’s time for the Vols to seek some revenge on one of the most famous West Coast teams in all of college football.
