At this point, Vol fans have probably collectively watched the Jauan Jennings’ Hail Mary catch against Georgia a couple million times. Not only have they watched the throw and catch itself, but they’ve also viewed several different iterations of it with different voiceovers, dramatic music, and everything in between.
But we bet you haven’t seen a recreation of that dramatic catch like this.
Jared Jacobs recreated Jennings’ Hail Mary grab with a stop motion film using LEGOs, and the result is incredible. Take a look:
The behind the scenes video that Jared posted is equally impressive, and it shows off the amount of work that went into filming the short video as well:
Fishing with @lego is my favorite kind of fishing. Behind the scenes look of the most exciting college football game of last year. Even though I didn’t care who won that game, the last minute of it had me on the edge of my seat. College Football season is upon us! Thanks to @vol_football @georgiafootball and @cbssports for the dramatic finish, and for keeping us all entertained.
Jared recreates football plays with LEGOs on a regular basis, and it’s one of the more unique ways Tennessee’s iconic play from the 2016 season has been recreated.
