Breakdown: Kansas State travels to Nashville in one of the more important games of Derek Mason’s tenure as Vanderbilt’s head coach. A victory for the Commodores over ranked Kansas State would likely give them a top 25 ranking next week. Vanderbilt’s defense has looked stellar through two weeks, but they’ve played MTSU and and FCS school. Kansas State hasn’t played anyone of note to start the year, so this will be their first big test.
