The Florida Gators announced on Monday that they would be wearing alternate uniforms on Saturday when they play Texas A&M. And the Internet immediately hated the new looks.
Florida revealed a “swamp green” alternate uniform for their match-up with the Aggies this upcoming weekend. The idea behind the uniform is to embody “The Swamp” where the Gators play.
Here is the brief video Florida’s official Twitter account put out to announce the new uniforms:
25 years after BHG Stadium became #TheSwamp, the @FloridaGators will take the look of a Gator on Sat. ?

Shortly after the announcement, Gator fans, Vol fans, and national media alike all reacted to it. And the vast majority of them didn’t like the new look at all.

Some Vol fans may not like Tennessee’s Smokey Gray alternate looks, but judging by the reaction online, the Vols’ alternate jerseys are much better than Florida’s new look.
