Wide Receivers/Tight Ends
Another game, another instance of Tennessee’s receivers and tight ends not being used properly. Marquez Callaway had just one catch before the Vols’ final drive, and Brandon Johnson had just two receptions before then. Ethan Wolf finished with zero catches, marking the third time in six games this season he’s had one or fewer receptions in a game. The receivers didn’t drop many passes or run as many bad routes in this game; they just weren’t used properly and Guarantano didn’t seem to trust them a ton.

Obviously, Butch Jone is on the hot seat, but at what point do they shuffle the offensive play calling. It hasn’t been good. Do they take that responsibility away from Larry Scott, get rid of him, etc? What is your suggestion?
