The Vols’ 10 Worst Offensive Games Over the Last Decade

207 yards at South Carolina 2008

South Carolina is the only other team besides Alabama to appear more than once on this list. The Gamecocks stymied Tennessee in 2008 as Nick Stephens and Jonathan Crompton neither one could get anything going for the Vols’ offense.

The Gamecocks only totaled 255 yards of offense themselves, but they returned an interception 68 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter, and their defense helped carry them to a 27-6 victory over the Vols.

Tennessee turned the ball over three times and had just 28 rushing yards on 34 carries. Arian Foster scored Tennessee’s only touchdown, but it came with just over four minutes left in the third quarter. The game was already well out of reach by that point.
