Thoughts:
Brent Cimaglia thoroughly impressed during the Orange & White Game, nailing both of his 40-plus yard field goals and consistently hitting deep kickoffs. Paxton Brooks got off to a shaky start at punter but leveled out. But don’t expect him to have that spot nailed down just yet. Nigel Warrior got a lot of work as a kickoff returner in the spring game, and it will be interesting to see if he stays there in the fall. Ty Chandler also returned a few kicks, and he was effective there last season too. Jordan Murphy looked comfortable returning punts even if he didn’t have any explosive returns, and Theo Jackson is the early backup there.
