Tennessee’s basketball coaching staff continues to evaluate and send out offers to some highly talented players in the 2019 class. And that trend continued on Friday when they sent out an offer to another four-star forward in the cycle.

Jaylin Williams is a four-star small/power forward from Nahunta, Georgia, and he just picked up an offer from Tennessee on Friday.

Williams already has a slew of SEC offers and offers from other schools. He adds Tennessee’s offer to ones he already has from Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, Alabama, and Texas A&M in the SEC, and he also holds offers from Xavier, Cincinnati, UConn, Memphis, and Louisville among others.

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Williams is the No. 81 overall player and the 14th-best power forward in the 2019 class. They also have him listed as the No. 5 player in the state of Georgia.

The 6-foot-6, 190 pound Williams is a high-flying athlete who excels at dunking but can do much more than that. He’s a scoring machine, and he’s hard to stop once he gets going. He’s a superb athlete and can cause match-up problems with other forwards tasked with guarding him. He’s also a decent passer and can pull off some exceptionally difficult passes. Williams is no slouch on the defensive end either.

According to a story from OnTheRadarHoops.com, Williams put up some eye-popping totals this past season for Brantley County High School. He once scored 51 points in a single game and added 10 rebounds and six blocks in that same game, put up 44 points in another contest, and had a triple-double in another game when he scored 31 points, brought down 11 rebounds, and dished out 14 assists.

The four-star forward is just the latest talented forward to receive an offer from Tennessee in the 2019 class. The Vols have sent out offers to other four-star forwards over the last month, including Jaelyn Withers, Greg Gantt, and C.J. Walker. Local standout Drew Pember, a stretch-four forward, also picked up an offer from the Vols recently.

Tennessee currently has a small forward committed in their 2019 class. Three-star Davonte Gaines has been committed to the Vols since July of last year, but Tennessee has recently been looking at many different players at his position.
