The stats will show that UT only gave up one sack and two tackles for loss, but the numbers aren’t indicative of how bad the line played on Saturday. Yes, the line was without Nathan Niehaus and had to start true freshman Jerome Carvin. Yes, Jahmir Johnson was ejected in the first half (because he made a stupid decision and targeted a Vandy player when he didn’t need to). But their performance, especially in the run game, was still unacceptable.
