Quick Bio: Tennessee got to see Jake Spavital’s offense firsthand this year when they took on West Virginia to start the season. Spavital has served as the Mountaineers’ OC for the last two years, and West Virginia has had a great deal of success under him. He’s also been the OC for California, and he called plays for Texas A&M for a few seasons too.

Pros: SEC experience, Power Five experience, and a strong background as a play-caller. Spavital offers a lot to anyone looking for an offensive coordinator, and his track record speaks for itself.

Cons: He would be an extremely tough pull away from West Virginia, but maybe it will help that they’re losing a ton of their contributors after this season ends. It’s also fair to question how much success he can have as a play-caller when he doesn’t have a quarterback like Will Grier to direct his offense.
