Jeremy Pruitt mentioned in his early signing period presser that he wanted to add players to the roster who knew what winning at a high level was like, and he and his staff brought in several players who were on championship teams in high school. Beasley is one of those players, and he embodies leadership and toughness perfectly.

Beasley played for Heard County in high school, and he helped take his school to new heights this past year when he helped take home a state title for the first time ever. He was pivotal to his team’s success both on offense and defense, too. Beasley played a lot of running back in high school, but he also was a physical, roaming safety.

Beasley won Player of the Year for his district in Georgia, and he had the go-ahead touchdown on offense and game-winning interception on defense in overtime in Heard County’s semifinal game to send them to the state title game.

His versatility is a big reason I think he’s underrated, but it’s his leadership qualities and tenacity that really seal the deal.

As a senior, Beasley amassed 1,964 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns on 293 carries. He also had nearly 60 tackles on defense and picked off three passes on the year.
