Everything Barnes and Fulkerson Said after Vols’ Win vs. Ole Miss

    Tennessee put together their best game of basketball in SEC play so far this season, and it culminated in a blowout victory over Ole Miss on Tuesday night.

    The Vols improved to 12-6 overall and 4-2 in conference play with a 73-48 victory over the Rebels. The win marked UT’s third-straight win over Ole Miss in Knoxville and gave Tennessee their 15th win in their last 17 meetings with the Rebels in Thompson-Boling Arena.

    Redshirt junior forward John Fulkerson had the best game of his Tennessee career in the win, scoring a career-high 18 points on 7-of-8 shooting. He also brought down 10 rebounds, giving him his second  double-double of the season and the third of his career.

    After the game, both Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes and Fulkerson met with the media to discuss UT’s win, Fulkerson’s performance, and much more.

    Freshman forward Olivier Nkamhoua also had a standout game against the Rebels. Rick Barnes called it his best game of his UT career thus far, as the freshman totaled 10 points, four rebounds, and two blocks. Nkamhoua also met with the media, and here’s everything he said:
