Tennessee vs. Arkansas November 7th Game Preview
Tennessee has had a difficult season thus far with a 2-3 record. Quarterback Jarrett Guaranttano has struggled this season after finishing last season strong. He was benched during their matchup against the Kentucky Wildcats following his back to back interceptions. Coach Pruitt gave several other players first-team reps at quarterback but decided to stick with him for the game against Alabama. Jarrett played a decent game against Alabama where he threw for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns and no interceptions.
Jarrett is expected to start this week against the Arkansas Razorbacks. Alabama was always going to be a tough matchup for Tennessee so this comes as little surprise. Arkansas has had several impressive games this season, losing to Auburn by two points and playing #7 ranked Texas A&M very tough. This will be a tough game for Tennessee. Arkansas running back Rakeem Boyd rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown against A&M.

Implied Winning Probability – 55.56% for Vols win
Implied winning probability is one of the most important statistics in the online sports betting industry. This helps bettors calculate the true probability of a bet hitting. In this one, the Tennessee Volunteers are -125 to win the game on Saturday night. This would give Tennessee a 55.56% chance to win the game. Furthermore, the Arkansas Razorbacks are +104 which gives them a 49.02% chance to win.
These two numbers obviously add up to more than 100%. This is the vig that a sportsbook charges on each bet. Adding together 55.56% and 49.02% equals 104.58%. This means that the total vigorish that DraftKings Sportsbook is charging is 4.58%. It is semi-surprising to see the Tennessee Volunteers favored in this one as Arkansas has played two highly ranked teams very competitively.
Keys to Victory
Rakeem Boyd and Co. vs. Tennessee Rush Defense
Rakeem Boyd looked electric last week against the Texas A&M defense. He finally appears to be in football shape and be the bell cow in this one. Arkansas does however give carries to other backs in their offense. Feliepe Franks and Trelon Smith have also been major parts of their offense this season. Expect Boyd to be the major weapon for Arkansas with those other guys serving as a change of pace for the Razorbacks.
Jarrett Guarantano Unpredictability
Jarrett has been extremely unpredictable this year. He threw for 88 yards against the Kentucky Wildcat offense and 2 interceptions with no touchdowns. He was benched in the second half of that game. He got the start in their last game against the Alabama Crimson Tide. This game will go where Jarrett takes them.
