It is finally here. Playoff weekend has arrived and the Tennessee Titans will face a familiar foe. The Titans will look to replicate last year’s playoff victory over the Ravens. Ravens vs. Titans Game Preview
As a Tennessee Titans fan, I will be watching this game regardless. However, this game is poised to be the most bet on matchup across the whole weekend. Taking into account that this game has the highest expected point total and Lamar Jackson is always must-see TV. The world will be watching in this one and it is a huge opportunity for the Titans. Derrick Henry will have the opportunity to run through the Ravens defense. Remember, the Browns absolutely annihilated the Ravens defense on Monday night. This game is going to be fascinating on both sides of the ball.
The line has not moved much since it opened up showing that bettors are divided on the outcome of this game. It originally opened up as Ravens -4.5 but sharp bettors eagerly jumped on it, moving the line down to -3.5. It could even get down to a field goal given these teams’ history. The Titans not only beat the Ravens in the playoffs last year but they also defeated the Ravens in week 11 in overtime. The game was fascinating earlier in the year and should be again on Sunday.

NFL Wild Card Weekend Injury Report
Baltimore Ravens
CB Marlon Humphrey has not practiced yet this week and is a crucial part of their defense. He played the last two weeks, I’d expect him to play.
WR Willie Snead is not the most important playmaker for the Ravens but he is definitely an asset. John Harbaugh said that they are “hopeful” he will be out there this weekend.
OT DJ Fluker has a knee injury and appears to be legitimately questionable.
Tennessee Titans
LG Roger Saffold is one of the toughest players in the league. He did not practice yet this week but has “vowed” to play. I’d bet he lives up to his promise.
RT Dennis Kelly did not practice yet this week but played last week. Expect him to be out there after he logged a full practice at the end of last week to clear him to play.
S Kevin Byard had a noninjury related missed practice. Assuming there are no COVID-19 complications, he should be in this game.
OL Aaron Brewer was also a noninjury related scratch during practice thus far in the week. I’d expect him to be available if needed this week.
2020 AFC South Final Standings

- Indianapolis Colts 11-5
- Houston Texans 4-12

Implied Win Probability – Ravens 64.91% Titans 39.22%
Implied win probability is the act of taking the figurative odds that a sportsbook is giving and calculating a true percent chance. This is especially important for sports betting because some sportsbooks will attempt to charge a large vigorish. This is also important when you place parlay bets. It is extremely important to realize that the vigorish is multiplied for every bet that you add to a parlay. This increases the profitability of a sportsbook.
In this game, the Tennessee Titans are 3.5 point underdogs. The sportsbook is not giving the Titans very much respect in this game at all. Their defense is horrific as we know but the +155 moneyline odds would give them a 39.22% chance to win the game. Conversely, the Ravens are -185 on FanDuel Sportsbook which would place them at a 64.91% chance to win according to VirginiaCasinos.com. By adding the two numbers together, you will get a vigorish of 4.13% from FanDuel Sportsbook. This is about average for a vigorish from a sportsbook the size of FanDuel.
Sports Betting Trends
The total has gone over in 7 of the last 8 Titans games
This says a lot about the Titans defense being bad and their offense being extremely efficient. Both offenses are very efficient and put up points in bunches. The Ravens and Titans love to score, I’d expect fireworks in this one.
Ravens #1 rushing offense vs. Titans #2 rushing offense
This game is going to be a shootout in a different way. Rather than two quarterbacks going at it and heaving the ball downfield, these two teams will be running the ball down their throats.
