Tennessee Back On The Practice Field, Along With Impactful WR

    by -

Tennessee hit the field for practice No. 8 of the Spring on Tuesday afternoon. The Vols were back in pads today, coming off their open practice on Saturday at Neyland Stadium. This is a big week for Tennessee players, as they will hold their final scrimmage of Spring camp this coming Saturday.

In a nice development for the Tennessee receiver group, Jalin Hyatt was a full participant today in individual drills. The Vols coaching staff is playing it safe when it comes to certain players risking further injury, but it was a good sign for the group.

Jabari Small, Tiyon Evans, Jay Blakely and Tyler Baron were all dressed today. Roman Harrison and Jeremy Banks went to workout indoors after the stretch period, as did LaTrell Bumphus. These players have returned during portions of group practice, but aren’t participating, mainly observing.Tiyon Evans is still nursing an ankle injury.

A lot of energy coming from Alex Golesh today and the TE’s group, as he’s very hands on with his group.

Quarterbacks were working on passes to the slot with the RB group and then broke off and worked with their receivers.

The Vols will be back on the practice field Thursday afternoon. Stay with Rocky Top Insider for continuous coverage of Spring Practice 2021.
