WATCH: Tennessee Assistants Talk Ahead Of Missouri Matchup

    Tennessee running backs coach Jerry Mack and linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary met with the local media Monday ahead of the Vols’ road trip to Missouri.

    Mack discussed the strong play of his running backs at Florida. Jabari Small and Tiyon Evans combined for 109 yards rushing on 22 carries while adding 93 receiving yards. The first year coach also discussed the strong pass blocking of Evans in Gainesville.

    The Memphis native talked his pride in the Memphis players on Tennessee’s roster and recruiting his hometown.

    Mack also provided an updated on Tennessee running back Dee Beckwith.

    Brian Jean-Mary talked about why his unit has rotated so many players through four games and gave his assessment of Juwan Mitchell while the Texas transfer plays through a pair of injuries.

    The first year coach also discussed Missouri and the challenges the Tigers’ offense presents.
