The Tennessee Volunteers have officially finished Josh Heupel’s inaugural season with a winning record and a bowl game on the horizon. After the Vols took down Vanderbilt by a score of 45-21 in the regular-season finale, Tennessee has a record of 7-5 moving into bowl season.

The final game in Neyland Stadium was emotional for players and fans alike. However, it is especially true for the senior class as they celebrated their final game in Knoxville.

After the game, RTI’s Ric Butler and Ryan Schumpert took to the field to discuss some of the biggest topics surrounding the game and what will come next for Tennessee.

One of, if not the most significant off-the-field questions that will be answered is the future status of quarterback Hendon Hooker. After his first season at Tennessee, Hooker will have a choice to make. Will Tennessee’s quarterback turn pro and head to the NFL? Or will he return to Rocky Top for another season under coach Heupel and his staff?

During the RTI Instant Reaction, Ric and Ryan discuss what Hooker said in his postgame press conference, as well as some bowl predictions and final thoughts on Tennessee’s game against Vanderbilt.
