PHOTOS: Tennessee Coaches Hit the In-Home Recruiting Trail

Recruiting, recruiting, recruiting.

“Our staff will be on the road recruiting, and that kind of becomes the forefront here for the next week or two,” Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel said after the win over Vanderbilt. “We’ll be back next weekend and have a bowl practice or two. For our guys, they’ll have a day or two off during the course of the week, but we’ll get back in the weight room a little bit too.”

With an emphasis on hitting the ground running on the recruiting trail, Heupel and his staff have been flying all over the country for in-home visits. From Tennessee commits, to undecided players, and even commits to other schools, the Vols’ staff is splitting up to see as many players as they can.

Heupel, along with offensive coordinator Alex Golesh, wide receivers coach Kodi Burns, quarterbacks coach Joey Halzle, running backs coach Jerry Mack, and offensive line coach Glen Elarbee have been hard at work recruiting their positions. Meanwhile, defensive coordinator Tim Banks, defensive backs coach Willie Martinez, linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary, and Heupel have been working the defensive side of the ball.

Below are pictures from the in-home visits posted to social media by various players or coaches around the country. Stat rankings are via 247 Sports’ recruiting database.
