The Tennessee Titans have clinched a playoff berth, but they still have plenty to play for in Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Houston Texans.
Unlike some teams with Super Bowl aspirations, the Titans won’t be resting their starters in the final week of the regular season. With a win, Tennessee clinches the AFC’s top seed, which comes with a first-round bye and home-field advantage through the AFC Championship Game.
At 11-5, the Titans and Kansas City Chiefs are tied atop the AFC standings with the Titans holding the edge in the tiebreaker. But even with the Titans in line for the tiebreaker — and the possible return of star running back Derrick Henry — they are not among BetMGM Tennessee’s favorites to win Super Bowl XVI.
BetMGM Tennessee Super Bowl Odds
The Titans are tied for the sixth-best betting odds to win the Super Bowl at BetMGM. That equals a good opportunity for bettors thinking the potential return of Henry will greatly enhance their chances of claiming the Vince Lombardi Trophy on Feb. 13.
Not surprisingly, the Green Bay Packers are the current Super Bowl favorites at +400 at BetMGM. The Packers have already secured the NFC’s first-round bye and will welcome any NFC opponents to Lambeau Field, where the tundra may or may not be frozen on any given January weekend.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are just behind Green Bay at +700 at BetMGM, with oddsmakers expecting QB Tom Brady to make a run at adding another Super Bowl ring to his collection.
The Buffalo Bills (+800) and the Los Angeles Rams (+900) are up next, with the Bills looking to win their first Super Bowl. The Rams, meanwhile, look to follow in Tampa Bay’s footsteps by winning the Super Bowl in their home stadium, a feat the Los Angeles Chargers (+4000) also hope to accomplish.
Tennessee and the Dallas Cowboys are both +1200 at BetMGM, meaning a winning $100 wager on either team would cash a return of $1,300 — $1,200 in winnings plus the original $100 stake.
The Arizona Cardinals and the New England Patriots are both +1800, with the Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts following at +2000. The San Francisco 49ers join the Chargers at +4000.
A quintet of longshots rounds out the board led by the Philadelphia Eagles (+6600), the New Orleans Saints (+10000), the Las Vegas Raiders (+15000), Baltimore Ravens (+25000), and the Pittsburgh Steelers (+30000).
Titans Find Success Despite Derrick Henry Injury
The Titans were riding high early in the season with Henry leading a potent ground attack that, combined with QB Ryan Tannehill’s play, had the Titans at 6-2 after a win over the Colts on Oct. 31.
Tennessee’s hopes, though, seemed to take a hit a day later when the Titans announced Henry suffered a fractured right foot against the Colts. The team, however, has gone 5-3 with Henry sidelined.
Henry was designated to return to practice from the injured reserve list on Jan. 5, opening a 21-day window in which he can return to the active roster. It’s unclear exactly when Henry will be able to return to action, but a healthy return will certainly bolster the team’s Super Bowl chances.

BetMGM Super Bowl Props
Once the opponents for the Super Bowl are determined, there will be any number of prop bets available at BetMGM Tennessee. There are even a few options available now if you want to get an early start on your Super Bowl wagering.
Game and Player Prop Bets each involve several outcomes and you can wager on the one you expect to pan out. At the moment, you can pick which division the Super Bowl winner will come from or you can try an “exact outcome” bet, which offers every possible matchup.
For example, if you want to bet that the Titans will beat the Cardinals, you can place that bet now at +12,500 before the odds start dropping as other teams are eliminated from contention.
You can also bet on which state the winning team is from, with the Titans falling under “Any Other Team Not Listed.” That sits at -165, meaning you’d have to bet $165 to win $100 if the winning team doesn’t come from California, Florida, Maryland/District of Columbia, New York/New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Texas.
Check BetMGM Tennessee often as many more prop bets will become available throughout the playoffs. The majority of player props will be released in the days leading up to the game.
