Chicago Bears at New England Patriots -7.5 (-110)
The Patriots have covered the spread three weeks in a row, and we think this will be a fourth. Bill Belichick has his team playing sound football, and it really doesn’t matter who is at quarterback. The Pats have outscored their opponents 67-15 over the last two games with excellent play on both sides of the ball.
Their defense is ranked seventh in the league, surrendering 18.8 points per game, while the running game has been dominant at 131.3 YPG. The latter matches up nicely against a Chicago team that has been abysmal against the run this season, giving up 163 YPG (29th). The Bears mustered just seven points against the Commanders last week, and it’s hard to imagine things going much better for them against a superior Patriots team.
