Tennessee’s matchup at Georgia will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET with CBS broadcasting the game, the SEC announced Monday.

The matchup is Tennessee’s third SEC on CBS game this season. The Vols beat Florida and Alabama inside Neyland Stadium earlier this season in the primetime CBS time spot.

Tennessee-Georgia being the game of the week is no surprise. The Vols and Bulldogs are both unbeaten entering week nine matchups against Kentucky and Florida respectably.

The winner of the SEC east rivalry will almost certainly win the division and punch its ticket to Atlanta for the SEC Championship. Whoever wins will have a two game lead in the SEC east once the tiebreaker is accounted for.

The rivalry matchup is poised to be one of the biggest in the nation all season with Georgia holding the top spot in the polls and Tennessee coming in closely behind at No. 3.

The Bulldogs have won five straight in the rivalry dating back to Tennessee’s Hail Mary win in Athens in 2016. Since then, Kirby Smart’s first season, Georgia has become one of the best programs in the country.

Tennessee is in the midst of making a major program jump in Heupel’s second season as the Vols challenge Georgia for the top spot in the division.

Other top SEC games on the week include Alabama-LSU at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN, Florida-Texas A&M at noon ET on ESPN and Auburn-Mississippi State at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
