VFL Films mic’d up Tennessee senior forward Josiah-Jordan James last week ahead of the Vols’ matchup against Georgia.

One of the main leaders on the Tennessee basketball team, James showed plenty of leadership qualities encouraging his teammates and joking with assistant coaches and managers in the 89 second video.

Watch below as James goes through practice as the Vols prepare for the Georgia Bulldogs, a game Tennessee won 70-41.

It’s been a senior season full of adversity for James as he’s dealt with a lingering left knee injury. The small forward missed eight games early in the season and didn’t play four consecutive games until SEC play.

New treatment and medicine led to James’ improved health and after the late start, James has gotten his senior season on track.

James has played an average of 28.4 minutes over the last five games and thrice scored in double figures in that span including 22 points in Tennessee’s win at LSU.

James and the Vols return to the court Wednesday night in Gainesville were they’ll face Todd Golden’s first Florida team. Tip-off from the O’Connell Center is at 7 p.m. ET. Kevin Fitzgerald and Jimmy Dykes are on the call for ESPN2.
