Former Tennessee Football quarterback Hendon Hooker’s college stats closely resemble those of former No. 1 overall pick and Heisman Trophy winner, Joe Burrow.

Burrow put together the best statistical season from a college quarterback in history in 2019, and went on to win the Heisman and National Championship.

Hooker’s college stats are also helped by a magnificent senior season, as Hooker was one of the best college football players in 2022.

Hooker does have a seven-game advantage on Burrow in terms of appearances at the college level, but Burrow also played with arguably the top two current NFL wide receivers in Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase while at LSU.

The two quarterbacks’ final stats from their college careers are below.

Hooker: 632 completions on 944 attempts for 8,974 yards, 80 TD, 12 INT

Burrow: 650 completions on 945 attempts, 8,852 yards, 78 TD, 11 INT

Hooker also has the clear rushing edge, rushing for over 2,000 yards on over 500 carries while Burrow ran for 820 yards on 258 totes. Hooker also rushed for 25 touchdowns while Burrow found the end zone on the ground 13 times.
