Tennessee baseball is set to take on the LSU Tigers on Tuesday night in an elimination at Charles Schwab Field. First pitch in the win-or-go-home matchup is at 7 p.m. ET in Omaha.

Tennessee and LSU both enter the contest 1-1 so far in Omaha. The Vols lost to LSU and Paul Skenes last Saturday night before eliminating Stanford yesterday with a 6-4 comeback win.
This will be the fifth meeting between the Vols and Tigers this season. Tennessee is 1-4 against LSU in those five games. In addition to the Omaha win, LSU beat the Vols in games one and two in the three-game regular season series.
The only win Tennessee has against LSU this season is when they didn’t face Paul Skenes or Ty Floyd. Neither Tiger arm is likely to pitch on Tuesday night as Tennessee has the significant pitching advantage.
