We’re looking through some new bowl projections this week as Tennessee faces their final four games of the regular season over the span of the next four weeks.
College football is moving toward the finish line, folks. Tuesday marked the first iteration of the College Football Playoff rankings as teams buckle down to perform the best they can over the final handful of weeks. Tennessee came in at No. 17 in the College Football Playoff rankings and No. 19 in the Week 10 AP Top 25 poll this week.
We’ve looked at and written about plenty of expert projections for the bowl season since the midway point of the year with a few common trends popping up along the way.
The Cheez-It Bowl, the Music City Bowl, Iowa, Maryland, and the state of Florida have all been common sites, opponents, and locations over the last few weeks. The projections heading into Week 10 of the season are fairly similar across the board with one outlier from Jerry Palm’s predictions.
The Vols have four remaining games against UConn, at Missouri, Georgia, and Vanderbilt to close out the season.
